 I would like to introduce Catriona Davies or Cat as she prefers to be called, the owner and creator of Black Sheep Designs UK. Cat whilst  in  the midst of studying and living on a tight student budget found herself more and more in charity shops which sparked of an interest in vintage fashion. Occasionally she would replicate skirts from the 50’s, jumpsuits from the 70’s and even cocktail dresses from the 80’s.

After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fashion, working along with other designers, she eventually decided to combine the skills she had developed over the years with her interest in vintage fashion to create an eclectic women’s wear label specialising in unique, handmade and affordable wear. Fusing retro, vintage and modern styles and shapes, and taking inspiration from previous decades and pop culture, past and present, including versatile and intermixable items, as well as bold statement pieces.

All items are made from scratch by herself in small quantities (or can be made to order), from carefully sourced fabrics and in realistic sizes that reflect modern women’s' shapes and sizes. Black Sheep is based in the UK  and also ships internationally, using a fast and affordable shipping provider. All the items shown here are available in her shop
